UPSC Prelims Result

UPSC Mains Result

The UPSC main exam has 9 theory papers of 250 marks each. Candidates that score above the cut-off marks in the preliminary exam are eligible to appear for the main exam. The main exam has subjective papers and checks the candidate’s understands of the subject. Only seven papers will be counted in the final merit ranking. Paper A is an Indian Language Paper and Paper B is an English paper. Paper A and B are of qualifying nature. The papers are 3-hour exams for 300 marks. 

Paper-II to Paper-V will be on general studies. Paper-II to paper-V is a 3-hour exam for 250 marks. Paper VI and Paper VII are optional papers. The candidate should choose the optional subject carefully. Optional papers are 3-hour papers for 250 marks. The interview or personality test is for 275 marks.

Railway Result 

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts Railway NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) examinations for vacant posts every year. The eligibility can change with every post. There are 21 railway boards throughout the country. The RRB publishes vacancies from various boards on its website. All candidates have to appear for the following online examination.

  • 1st stage Computer-Based Test (CBT) -90 minute exam
  • 2nd Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT) -90 minute exam

In the final stage, candidates will need to undergo a medical examination followed by document verification. The Railway NTPC is a national level examination and is online.   • SBI PO Preliminary Examination is for 1 hour and is for 100 marks. There are 3 sections:-

SBI SO Exams are conducted to recruit Officers. The SBI SO Exam has two stages:-

    • Reasoning (50 marks, 40 minutes)
    • English language (25 marks, 40 minutes)

IBPS Result

The IBPS stands for Indian Banking Personnel Selection. They are an independent organization that conducts online exams to recruit staff for public sector banks. Earlier candidates had to write multiple exams for each bank. The IBPS exam is held in multiple locations across the country. The exams are conducted for the following vacancies:-

IBPS PO Result 

The IBPS exam dates and result dates are announced on their website. The IBPS PO exams have two papers both exams are online examinations:-

  • Tier 1 or the IBPS preliminary examination is a 100 mark exam for 1 hour 20 minutes. Negative marking applies to the examination. Tier 1 has 3 sections:-
    • English (30 marks, 20 minutes)
    • Numerical ability (35 marks, 20 minutes)
    • Reasoning ability (35 marks, 20 minutes)

Candidates who clear the Preliminary examination can attend the main exam.

  • Tier II – IBPS Main Exam is conducted online. There is one descriptive paper and one objective paper. The objective paper is online. Negative marking is applicable for the main exam. It has 5 (4+ 1) sections with a total score of 200 +25 marks and a total duration of 180 + 30 minutes.

Candidates who cleared the main exams are called for a personal interview for 100 marks. The interview is generally 15-20 minutes long. It is conducted by the Nodal Bank in each state and union territory with the assistance of IBPS. 

IBPS IT Officer Result 

IBPS SO Exams are conducted to recruit IBPS IT Officers and other bank staff. IBPS releases details about recruitment on their website. The IBPS SO Exam has two parts:-

  • Tier 1 – IBPS Prelims Exam Pattern is an online examination. It is a two-hour exam.
  • The 150 marks and has three sections. Negative marking applies.

Teaching Result 

Teaching is called a noble profession of molding young minds. To promote compulsory education for all there has been an enormous demand for teachers in government institutions. There are three levels of teaching jobs for government institutions:-There are three levels of teaching jobs for government institutions:-

  • The primary teacher (PRT) can teach up to class 5.
  • The trained graduate teacher can teach till class 10.
  • Postgraduate Teacher (PGT) can teach till class 12.

The CTET is a national level exam conducted for CBSE twice a year to recruit teachers from classes 1 to 8. Two papers:-Paper 1 (candidate who teach till class 5) and  Paper 2 (candidates who will teach 6 to 8). Candidates who plan to teach multiple classes must apply for both papers. The exam is an offline examination held across 112 cities across the country. The exam is held in English and Hindi. 

 

Several state/central government releases recruitment notifications with the last date of applications. There are two types of the examination conducted for teacher recruitments:-

  • National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Eligibility Test (SET) is a national level examination to recruit candidates for an assistant professor or Junior Research Fellowship. Candidates who have cleared the NET exam can apply for the job as an assistant professor in universities across India. The SET is a qualification exam for assistant professors in universities in a particular state each state announces their exam dates.
  • Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is conducted either nationally or state level for the recruitment of teachers for class 1 to 8. 

Police Result 

People wishing to become police officers must decide the designation they are targeting. The eligibility and selection procedure differs according to the designation. If you want to become an SP/ASP/DSP you need to clear the IPS exam. State governments have separate state selection procedures and exams. The recruitment exam has a combination of written and physical examinations. The SSC also conducts police exams for several states. 

 Police Constable Result

Police ASI Result

Defense Result 

There several exams to defense exams conducted in India for candidates wanting to join the defense forces the exams conducted are:-

NDA recruits students for the Army, Navy, and Air Force. NDA exam is a bi-annual exam. The exam is in two stages a written test and an SSB interview. 

  • The exam is an offline exam. The duration of the exam is 5 hours. Candidates can give the exam in Hindi or English. The SSB interview is an interview and a personality test. 
  • Combined Defense Service Examination (CDS) is conducted twice a year by the UPSC to recruit officers into Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Air Force Academy, and Officer Training Military Academy. The results of CDS are released on their website. The exam is usually held in February and September. All candidates must clear the physical efficiency test. The selection of the candidates is based on a written examination or CDS-1, personality test, and interview. The CDS exam is an offline exam for 100 marks with multiple-choice questions. The bilingual exam is held in English and Hindi. 200 marks are allocated for the interview that is two stages. Stage 1 involves Officer Intelligence Rating; candidates clearing Stage 1 proceed to stage 2. Stage 2 has the following stages:- Group Tests Officer Task, Interview, Conference, and Psychology Test.

AFCAT is conducted for recruitments into the Indian Air Force.

Candidates are chosen based on results of the online examination and interview conducted by the Air Force Selection Board).

  • CAPF conducts exams for the Central Armed Police Forces. Candidates that clear the exam join the forces as Assistant Commandant (AC). The exam is conducted once a year and is a combination of written, physical, interview/personality test. 
  • Indian coast guards conduct exams to recruit candidates for Indian Coastal Guards. The selection process has several phases:- written test, physical fitness test, and medical exam. 

Army Result 

The Indian National Army conducts examination every year for posts of Soldier General Duty (GD). There are two rounds to qualify for the soldier general duty:-

  • Common Entrance Exam CEE is a 100 mark examination consisting of general knowledge (30 marks), general science(40 marks), and mathematics (30 marks). 
  • Physical screening test (PST/PET) has a series of athletic and physical challenges.

Air Force Result

  • Phase 1 is an online test group X students have 60 minutes exam while group Y students will have a 45 minutes exam.

The Indian Navy invites applications for SSR (secondary senior recruit), AA (artificer apprentice), and MR (matric recruit) every year. The Indian Navy SSR results have just been announced.
